According to American Autopsy Services Inc., an autopsy is suggested for a number of reasons. One of these reasons is “any death where an autopsy could reveal a known or suspected illness that may factor into the well-being of survivors or transplanted organ recipients.”

We see clearly in the book of 1 Corinthians that this Body of Christ suffered from many illnesses. An overwhelming majority of this letter is spent addressing mistakes and bad situations in the church. In this lesson series, we will conduct an autopsy on this body. We will take a closer look at the diseases and symptoms, so that we might better protect ourselves from the same ailments. 

This series will deal with issues that may possibly be relevant to your group. Be sure to allow time for questions to be answered and discussion made. Also, be prepared to control the discussion if these issues hit too close to home.
